Background
House of Transformation Global Ministry was established in 2005 by a group of believers who started gathering every Sunday at Pastor Isaac and Charity Jere’s apartment. At that time, the church was known as Pittsburgh Gospel Tabernacle. It took only three Sundays for the group to outgrow the apartment and needed to relocate to a bigger space. With the help of Sister Karen Elkins, the church moved to Comfort Inn on Lebanon Church Road.
God continued adding people to the church which made the number of saints to increase. With that growth in number of saints, the church moved to another location called Library Plaza for a few months. After a few months at Library Plaza, the church found a storefront to rent on Saw Mills Run Blvd. The church rented that storefront on Saw Mills Run Blvd for 5 years.
Pastor Isaac C Jere inspired the church to step out and purchase property for the church. This fellowship believes that the work of God should not get stuck at any given time, because God is always on the move fulfilling his purpose in the earth. God told Moses and the children of Israel to go forward when they met a challenge at the red sea. Exodus 14:15.
With this mindset, the church embarked on a fundraising program for the purchase of a building for the church. A church building was miraculously found on the West End. The church finally purchased that building in March of 2012. 623 S Main Street, is the location where House of Transformation Global Ministry operates from.
We have been in this location since March 2012 seeking to impact our community. We have seen and want to continue seeing the church flourishing and holistically transforming people’s lives by the anointed gospel globally. With people from all walks of life and different nations, the House of Transformation Global Ministry has created a strong united fellowship of men, women, young adults, youths and children. The word of God is highly exalted and valued while the Spirit of God freely flows to confirm and establish the word with signs and wonders and miracles. ABOUT PASTOR ISAAC C JERE AND HIS WIFE PASTOR CHARITY CHEWE JERE.
Pastor Isaac C Jere is the Presiding Elder at the House of Transformation Global Ministry. He was born on December 18,1964 in Chingola, Zambia. He is married to Pastor Charity Chewe Jere. The two have two Sons namely Blessing Jere and Samuel Kondwelani Jere. Pastor Isaac C Jere graduated high school at Chililabombwe Secondary School in 1982. He then joined the military in Zambia as an Officer and was commissioned to the rank of 2nd Lt in 1986. God called him out of the military in 1996 to a Pastoral calling.
Pastor Isaac Jere is a dedicated Minister of the Gospel who shepherds God’s people as recommended by the Apostle Peter. “1 Peter 5:2 Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;
1 Peter 5:3 Neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being ensamples to the flock. ” Operating under the oversight of Apostle Alois A Rutivi, Pastor Jere has matured well in leading a multicultural congregation. Under his leadership you can not feel left out. He encourages participation by all members in building God’s work as recommended by the Apostle Paul. “Romans 12:4 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:
Romans 12:5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
Romans 12:6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;
Romans 12:7 Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;
Romans 12:8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.”
Pastor Isaac C Jere has developed a powerful structure at the House of Transformation Global Ministry. He leads the church with the Board of Elders for Spiritual guidance and direction to the church. The Board of Trustees carries out all administrational operations. The Duties of the Board of Trustees include outsourcing resources to support activities that involve community development. Children Ministry is a great part of this fellowship. Your children will be taken care of as you enjoy the Service. This makes the House of Transformation Global Ministry vibrant and a fellowship one can desire to be a part of.
Pastor Isaac C Jere is a Bible based teacher who believes the gospel as it reads and has been taught by the Apostles. He has continued to build on the foundation of the Apostles with Jesus Christ as chief cornerstone.” Ephesians 2:20 We are his house, built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets. And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself.
Ephesians 2:21 We who believe are carefully joined together, becoming a holy temple for the Lord.”
Pastor Isaac C Jere believes that the church is a Hospital where patients having different issues of life come to seek help from the Doctor of the Body, Soul and Spirit, Jesus our Lord who has conquered all. To get the Transformation that each one needs, Pastor Jere encourages the congregation to concentrate on personal help from Christ and not look at other people’s issues, just like the hospital where people mind their own sickness not bothering with other people’s illnesses and what the doctor is doing with them.
His wife Pastor Charity, a Bible teacher, author and entrepreneur has been a great support from the time that Pastor Isaac retired from active service. She endured the early days of Ministry in Kafue where they started until now here in Pittsburgh. This is a blessed couple to work under. You will enjoy your Christian walk.
